The Vagina Monologues, an award-winning play, is part of the National V-Day Campaign, a global movement to end violence against women and girls. It is based on founder/playwright Eve Ensler's interviews with more than 200 women of all ages and stages of life. With humor and grace the piece celebrates women's sexuality and strength. Through this play and the reclaiming of this one word, countless women throughout the world have found empowerment in their bodies and in their lives. For more than twelve years, The Vagina Monologues has given voice to the humanity of women. The proceeds go back to VDay and to support Girls Inc. of Long Island in providing educational programs that make our girls strong, smart and bold.
