Anne Seifried

Development Manager

Anne Seifried (MPA, SIPA-Columbia; BA, Hunter-CUNY) is the Development Manager for Girls Inc. of Long Island. A skilled non-profit manager with 30+ years of policy, advocacy and service delivery experience in the public and not-for-profit sectors, Anne brings a wealth of knowledge to Girls Inc., including fundraising, grant writing, government contracts, tracking and reporting.


Anne has volunteered for many years with Long Island non profit organizations working with women and girls. Previously, she served at various New York City economic development organizations, where she was deeply involved in developing sectoral programs for the manufacturing community. She began her career in government, including serving in New York City’s Mayor’s Office and City Council where she worked on many committees, developing expertise in diverse policy issues such as Education, Health and Women’s Issues.


Anne has served as President of the Alumni Association of Hunter College (AAHC) and an advisory board member for the AAHC Scholarship and Welfare Fund; and is a founder of the AAHC Public Service Scholar Alumni Chapter. She was inducted into the AAHC Alumni Hall of Fame in 2015.


She, her husband and two teenagers are all movie buffs and Beatles fans. She loves cooking & baking, crafting and camping. She can never get enough of travelling to new places and exploring local cultures, foods and sites.
