I was introduced to Girls Inc. through the People’s United Bank Community Foundation and was immediately inspired by the mission of the organization, the passion of the Girls Inc. leadership team and the positive impact Girls, Inc. has had on so many of young girls our communities. Patty Hoffman is a Customer Experience Manager in the Long Island Retail Banking Division of People’s United Bank. She is responsible for leading eight business markets comprised of 36 retail branch locations across Nassau and Western Suffolk County. As a financial services professional, Patty delivers measure accomplishments that include building, inspiring and leading high performance teams to deliver a world class customer experience while focusing on building the People’s United Bank brand on Long Island. Patty has been highlighted in Long Island Business News “Who’s Who in Professional Women” and is a former two-time recipient of the CEO Leadership Award and is on the Governing Board of People’s United Bank Women In Leadership program. Throughout Patty’s career she has been active in supporting many Long Island community organizations as a fund raiser, community member or volunteer. She believes that offering a combination of empathy and expertise to customers, giving back as partners in our communities, and valuing the know-how of our employees is fundamental to succeeding together.
