International Day of the Girl Recap

SHARE

Last month, middle and high school girls at both Levittown Library and Middle Country Library came together to celebrate International Day of the Girl.  Girls discussed girls’ rights across the globe and the many ways girls contribute to their families and communities, took pictures at our empowering selfie station, talked about their hopes and dreams for the future, and signed the Girls Bill of Rights. It was an inspiring opportunity for girls to celebrate what it is to be a girl and stand in solidarity with girls across the globe!
