Project Accelerate is Girls Inc. of Long Island’s alumnae program, extending the Girls Inc. Experience into early adulthood and empowering young women to navigate key transitions with confidence and clarity.
Project Accelerate offers holistic support — including mentorship, internship placements, career and education resources, and networking opportunities — equipping young women with the skills and support they need to thrive as independent leaders.
Through Project Accelerate, young women:
- Graduate high school prepared to pursue post-secondary plans;
- Navigate college successfully;
- Access valuable paid internships;
- Build lasting relationships with mentors and coaches;
- Advance toward fulfilling careers and postgraduate education;
