Program Facilitators deliver Girls Inc. programs by working directly with teen girls at the middle school and high school levels in grades 6-12 (ages 11-18), and in groups of 15-25 girls. Candidates must have demonstrated experience working with groups of youth in a professional setting (ages 10+). Hours split between assigned school sites (programming duties) and office in Deer Park (administrative responsibilities).
Girls Inc. programming addresses issues currently facing girls, including but not limited to: healthy/toxic relationships, social media, navigating school, bullying, financial literacy, goal-setting and career exploration, and more. Program activities (planned by program facilitators) are research-based, intentional, interactive, and expose girls to a wide variety of experiences. Program Interns support work directly with teen girls, in middle school or high school, depending on program placement. All programming takes place in-person with groups of 15-30 girls and between the ages of 11-18 (grades 6-12).
